Stressed
Lately things have been so very stressful around here. So much so that I am getting stomach aches from it all. The cookie program has wrapped up with the girl scouts. You would think that I would be happy with that but knowing that I had to cough up 200.00 of my own money made me sick. One of my parents claims that the cookie money she was supposed to turn in was "stolen". Yeah right! Knowing that this family is down on its luck I have given them the benefit of the doubt and wrote a check to cover their part. Have they paid me back, no! And they probably won't. Oh well, guess thats my charitable deed for awhile. Next, we have been dealing with the furniture company from hell. We ordered an entertainment center back on January 30th. We still do not have it in our home. In fact the company doesn't know where it is. We have asked for a refund but "we don't refund money on custom orders" was the answer we got. But they have no problem taking our money. Another thing that is giving me fits is the construction that is going on behind our home. We purchased this house with the understanding that the land behind us would remain vacant. Well the land owner sold it off and now senior citizen housing is going up. The noise has caused my four legged babies to go bonkers! So today we got a contractor to come over and give us an estimate on a fence. Mark's company has made the announcement that company vehicles can't be used for personal reasons anymore and must be parked as of April 1st. We do have 2 vehicles so that was the good news. The bad news is that we have to buy a new set of tires for the van so it is drivable! Along with all that junk we are still awaiting news about Mark's job. I just wish things would calm down!

I would have told the Girl Scouts the problem and not paid them any more than you collected. That's BS that you had to cover it.
Also, there are a lot worse things than a senior citizen housing going up in you back yard.
I have always been told to not worry about those things you cannot change...I don't listen, but that's what I've been told.
