Stepford Wife...not me!
Gosh I am horrible at this blogging thing. Well lately I seem to wonder what is wrong with me? I look around and everyone I come into contact with seems so happy and like their life is perfect. It is especially bad at Church. No matter what church I attend whether it be in Corsicana, Lubbock, or Pearland the women all seem to have perfect lives. Maybe it is the way our religion has groomed these women to be. As a convert I just can't and won't buy into the concept that everything is supposed to be perfect. I do not wear dresses all the time with my make-up perfect, my children are less than ideal a majority of the time, I sometimes cook food from a box, and my house isn't always clean. In fact I am normally in jeans and a t-shirt with my hair in a bun or ponytail. My children I don't like all the time but that doesn't mean I love them any less. And my house and cooking are par for the course. I guess I am just not stepford wife material. Oh well!

Me either, Diana. And truly, no one is but I agree that it seems some hide it pretty well, especially at church. I think you are awesome!
I've been feeling that way A LOT lately! I'm not a convert nor do I plan to ever be but I definately feel that way a lot of the time! I mean even when we go to my church I've been feeling that way! Even the kid thing:) I cannot wait to meet you! You are a wonderful caring person and I think that we need each other! I love you:)
No one is perfect, except for our Savior above. It doesn't matter how you dress, or what you cook, or how clean your house is, as long as you are happy with yourself. Take care of yourself, your husband and your children and don't worry about what other people may think. The grass is NEVER greener on the other side.
