Big Fat Disappointment

Have you ever had one of those days when you feel like you have let everyone down that was counting on you? Well I had one of those today. It feels like an out of body experience for me because that is jsut not in my nature to not get the job done. All week long we have been building preschool up to Jackob. Today was meet the teacher day and I THOUGHT it started at 11. I go and get the info. packet out at 10:50 this morning to see what supplies (if any) we needed to bring today. Much to my chagrin, there it was in big bold numbers, the time for the event was from 9-11. We missed it. When I told Jakob that he would not be going to school today he looked at me and said "I hate you. It's your fault mommy!" Talk about breaking my heart. The next group of people that I disappointed was some of our friends. Marathon gives away tickets to the home Astros game on Friday night. Mark had told me on Sunday that he could get up to 8 tickets so I invited 3 other couples to go with us. Mark put in for the tickets on Tuesday and we still haven't heard anything back. So it is safe to assume that we didn't get any tickets. So I messaged the ladies and let them know that there would be no baseball game. I feel so bad about disappointing everyone today. Hopefully, tomorrow I will get it all right!
