Running Away

Have you ever thought about running away from home and your life even if just for a little bit? I am having those very thoughts right now. Last Thursday I got a call from my dad saying that my mom was in the hospital with heart complications. I was on a plane heading to Lubbock about five hours later. They released her on Friday morning but obviously shouldn't have because she was back in the hospital less than 24 hours later. I scheduled my return trip home for monday afternoon but my father wanted me to stay for the remainder of the week. However, Mark had a different agenda and insisted that I come home. So I get home on Monday and mark turns around and heads out of town for work on Tuesday morning. He told me when he left that he would be home for dinner Wednesday but I just now got a call and he said it would be later. The kids are hitting and yelling at each other and terrorizing the dogs. I am coming down with a cold. And unfortunately the night is not getting any shorter or easier. I want to run away!!
